Meet the Doctors

Dr. Anthony F. Girardi, DDS
Dr. Anthony Girardi was raised in Grosse Pointe Woods, Michigan. He graduated from the University of Detroit Dental Center in 1974. After practicing for five years as a general practitioner in Sterling Heights, Michigan he completed his Endodontic post-graduate program at SUNY in Buffalo, New York in 1981. Dr. Girardi was a clinical instructor in SUNY Buffalo while practicing Endodontics in Williamsville, New York. In 1982 he moved to Fort Collins to start his Endodontic practice. Dr. Girardi was president of the Larimer County Dental Society 1992-1993. Dr. Girardi lives in Fort Collins with his wife Nancy and their two children Nick and Alyson. He enjoys attending their sportings events and Rockies games.

Dr. David M. Jones, DDS
Dr. David M. Jones grew up in Greeneville, Tennessee. He completed his undergraduate studies at Carson-Newman College in 1987 and his dental training at the University of Tennessee in 1991. He then completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry program with the US Army in 1992. In the Army, Dr. Jones gained a vast array of knowledge spending four years in Europe as a general dentist working very closely with other specialists in the dental field. Special assignments included deployments to Romania, Moldova, and Bosnia. Dr. Jones practiced general dentistry for seven years before entering Endodontics. Dr. Jones received his certificate in Endodontics from the University of Maryland in 1998. He then spent two years in Minnesota prior to joining our office. Dr. Jones was president of the Larimer County Dental Society in 2006-2007. He lives in Fort Collins with his wife Kelly and their two sons Ryan and Riley.

Dr. Kelly B. Jones, DDS, MS
Dr. Kelly B. Jones grew up in Arkansas and completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Arkansas in 1985. In 1989 she received her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Tennessee. Dr. Jones went on to attend a hospital-based general practice residency at Queens Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii. She then spent two years in private practice prior to becoming an officer in the US Army. Dr. Jones served four years in Germany and two years in Maryland prior to going to graduate school for special training, after 11 years as a general dentist. She received her certificate in Endodontics from the University of Minnesota in 2000. Additionally, Dr. Jones obtained a Master's degree during her Endodontic residency. Dr. Jones lives in Fort Collins with her husband David and their two sons Ryan and Riley.

Dr. Jason E. Maines, DDS, MS
Dr. Jason Maines completed his undergraduate at Earlham in Indiana in 1995. After graduation, he completed an internship in Human Resource Management in Orlando, Florida. A native of Indiana, Dr. Maines received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from Indiana University in 2000. He served three years in the US Air Force where he pursued an Advanced Education in General Dentistry and practiced at Warren Air Force base in Cheyenne, Wyoming. In 2005, he earned his certificate in Endodontics and Master's degree from the University of Minnesota. Dr. Maines lives in Windsor with his wife Lauren and their dog Gus.

Meet the Doctors

Dr. Amber Amelang-Severin, DDS, MS

Dr. Amber Amelang-Severin was born in Grand Junction, Colorado and grew up in Fort Collins.  She completed her undergraduate studies in microbiology at Colorado State University in 2000 and then went on to receive her Doctor of Dental Surgery from University of Colorado in 2006.  Dr. Amelang-Severin pursued advanced specialty training at Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin where she received her certificate in Endodontics and Master’s of Science degree in 2008.  She has returned to Colorado and now resides in Fort Collins.  She and her husband Sven enjoy being close to family, friends and the mountains of her home state.
